Importing Addresses from Civic Champs to Little Green Light 

In this article, follow along to learn how to set up your data to automatically (or manually) sync addresses from Civic Champs to LGL.

Addresses get added to a volunteers profile through the "Home address" questionnaire response.

Step 1.) Create a questionnaire with the Home address question. Questionnaires can be created by Super Admin's under the Setup tab, or by general Admins within individual group onboarding tabs.
Pro Tip: Any onboarding requirements for the VOLUNTEERS group under the Onboarding tab are required for ALL VOLUNTEERS and do not need to repeat elsewhere.

  • Requirements added to any sub groups will only be required for that sub-set of volunteers.

Step 2.) Apply the home address question to the VOLUNTEERS group

Step 3.) De select optional in the onboarding tab of the group (shown below). This requires all volunteers go give a response.

Pro Tip: Required questionnaires are surfaced at 3 points in the volunteer experience. 

  • At account setup from the organizations application link
  • Volunteer event registration
  • Volunteer Check-In from the mobile app or kiosk.

How to manually sync addresses to LGL 

 Step 1.) Under the Champions- Overview tab, select the white box next to name of the person that you'd like to push to LGL
Step 2.) Select the 3 dots by export, selecting "Sync to LGL".

Little Green Light is excellent at updating information without creating duplicate records.


Pro Tip: We recommend having the integration que on in your LGL settings at the beginning to verify that information is importing correctly.
