How Does Event Visibility Control Which Volunteers Can See Calendar Events?
When creating or editing new Events, there are three different settings for Calendar Visibility:
The radio buttons here impact the Visibility type of your Event:
"This is a public event" creates an Event with the Visibility of Public. Public Events are visible to everyone on your Event Calendar, even if they aren't signed into a Civic Champs account.
"This is a private event" creates an Event with the Visibility of Private. Private Events are never visible on your Event Calendar -- the only way to access them is from the Event Registration Link:
"This event is only visible to selected Groups," creates an Event with the Visibility of Selected Groups Only. This limits calendar visibility to people who are logged into Civic Champs accounts that are members of any of the specified Groups. In cases where Groups membership requires approval, you can specify whether they must be approved members or applicants.
