How do I see how many active volunteers I have over a specific time period?
In the Civic Champs Overview tab, admins can use filters to see how many volunteers have been active or have logged hours over a specific time period.
There are two ways that Civic Champs defines an "Active" volunteer.
The first is defined as a volunteer who has completed any of the following activities over the past year (365 days):
- The volunteer has signed a waiver.
- The volunteer has submitted a Questionnaire/Survey.
- The volunteer has any Activity Log data associated with them (including data added by an admin or data generated from a check-in event).
- The volunteer has registered for an Event.
If you are looking to identify active volunteers using this definition, please see this support article: https://support.civicchamps.com/volunteer-statuses-active-vs.-inactive
The second way a volunteer is defined as "Active" is if they have logged any hours during a time period. These hours can be logged by the volunteer themselves or by an admin.
To see a list of volunteers who are have logged hours during a specific time period (this is also used to determine your subscription level), use the "Add Filter" feature in the Champions Overview tab. Once the modal is open, deselect "Show All Champions" and hit Apply (i.e., make sure the checkbox is NOT checked). This will now show you only volunteers who have logged hours during the time period you have selected.
Pro Tip: To change the date range, use the date selector next to "+ Add Champion"
